Course Description

Are you telling your stories in the most convincing, most dramatic voice? Do your stories use the best voice for involving reader interest? Every written work has a voice. When should you use the Authorial Voice or the Narrator's Voice--and who should that narrator be?  
Course Outline

Week 1: What voice is and how to choose the voice that works best for your work

Week 2: The Authorial Voice: what it does and doesn't accomplish

Week 3: The Narrator's Voice: 1st, 2nd or 3rd-person and why

Week 4: The elements of voice and how to develop your own

HOMEWORK: There will be an exercise each week.
