In
the spirit of honesty and fair play for all, here is how we
handle registrations:
REGISTER BY CARD:
We use PayPal to handle our credit and debit card registrations.
They have a "secure" site and your card number is
not going to be stolen. If you register through PayPal we at
WritersCollege.com never see your card number. Some people
do find PayPal a bit intimidating. Next to the PayPal button
at the course description we have a phone number to call to
have them talk you through it.
REGISTER BY CHECK
OR POSTAL MONEY ORDER: We will e-mail you when we receive
your registration form and check or money order. Your course
will start the Monday after that unless you make other arrangements.
US BANK CHECKS/MONEY
ORDERS ONLY: Our profit margin is too low to permit us
to pay currency-exchange rates. So we accept checks and money
orders only when those are drawn on US banks or the US Post
Office.
APPROPRIATE AGE: We
offer classes to anyone who is 18 years old or older. If you
are younger, you may still take classes — with permission
of a parent or responsible adult. Contact us for details.
REFUNDS and our TEN DAY, NO-QUESTIONS-ASKED
DROP PERIOD: For our standard and extended courses, we refund
your money if you ask the
for
it within ten days of the start date of your course.
The one-week seminars have no drop period.
If you registered
by PayPal, we'll try to process the refund the same way (it
will appear on your next statement as a credit on your card.).
If more than 60 days have passed, or if you registered by check
or money order, or if there is a minor cost adjustment, we'll
do that by check.
BOUNCED-CHECK CHARGES: If
your check bounces or your credit card payment is not delivered
to us, we expect you to reimburse us for any bank charges associated
with that event.
